Last year, I focused on digital art and design, as well as the realm of the bold and brash in traditional media. I'm a huge fan of Poscas, Molotows and fluorescent colours. Previously, I had quite a heavy focus on the traditional, relying heavily on pencil and pen, working largely in greyscale, creating finer, more realistic drawings, especially while outside, creating field notes on mushrooms and various plants I came across.

Remember Reader Rabbit? Well, here's Raver Rabbit.
Had to pay tribute to this amazing techno venue after I visited for the first time. The owners bought it for the sound guy's birthday!!
"Emergence" (2024) - commissioned for Workington Art Trail; on display at Workington Rail Station until February 22nd, 2025. The theme was "connections", so for this piece, I researched the history of Workington and its influence on the industrial revolution. It turns out that a good deal of the railway tracks over the Anglo world were manufactured in the town, providing transport links, without which, technology creation would not have exploded as it did.
Creating the piece itself, I went to Workington and found interesting and important landmarks to sketch in plein (often windy) air, took them home and arranged them digitally to join up in an abstract manner, making them flow into each other, as if the connections were obvious.
